Happy Easter, Second-Half Bulls, and Abby Lee... huh?

I'd like to start off this post by declaring a very Merry Easter to all of you out there.  Even if you don't celebrate Easter, either in the Christian or secular sense... I hope you had a beautiful day anyway!

Now, on to the real meat of this!

The Chicago Bulls are my favorite NBA team.  Of course they are.  I am a Chicagoan.  I'm pretty much obligated to love them, no matter how bad they get.  For the past couple of years, they have stayed very far away from achieving the greatness they they had in the years of Michael Jordan.  However, this season has probably been one of the best for the Bulls in this current century.  Derrick Rose is on fire, but he's not just one of those guys who carries his team during every game.  The rest of the team is very reliable also.  I endearingly named these miscellaneous players "the Bench Mob", since they were the ones who played (and won most games) while star players like Rose and Luol Deng were injured.

I love the Bulls because they personify something that is very real in the minds of most individuals.  That is the mentality of "Oh sh*t!  We're losing by a lot!  We should probably actually play the game for real now!"  Yes.  The Bulls are one of those teams who never really seems to "get it" until after half-time.  Lately this team has been trailing behind their opponents up until the 3rd quarter or so.  Sometimes they ultimately lose (like today... but I'm not going to talk about it because frankly it was upsetting), and sometimes they win.  But the case is always this:  they always pull themselves together in the second-half.  My theory is that coach, Tom Thibodeau, beats them or at least threatens to kill them in the locker room.  Thus, I lovingly call them the "Second-Half Bulls."  Man, I love Chicago!

Next on the agenda of things to discuss is my only favorite reality show Dance Moms.  I just recently viewed the latest episode and all I have to say is "what?"  Seriously.  I don't even know what was up with that episode.  Abby cries.  I've only seen her cry once, and that was because her mother was in the hospital.  In this one she cried about her reputation.  Candy Apples beat her company by one point.  Get over it, lady.

This really truly happened and I cannot un-see it.

If that wasn't enough, she also cries when Maddie forgets her solo and runs off stage.  This blatantly shows the favoritism she has for her, and obviously the moms were upset.  But of course, Abby is "never wrong about anything," so she just leaves and totally dodges the situation.  Okay...  All I can say is I can't wait to see what happens next season!
